Order taker was fine but lady who delivered ice cream was rude, forgot 2 ice creams and our baby cone had a fly in it. Asked for new cone and could see worker dump out ice cream and use the same cone. No masks, no gloves, seemed very unsanitary. Have been coming here for almost 20 years but this may be the last time.

I am from Norwalk and we use to go all the time as kids. I have since moved out of state, but anytime I am in town I ALWAYS make a stop for Vargos!

Loved going here when I lived in Norwalk. I moved so I don't go as often but when I stop by for food, it's always great! Everything is always fresh and the flurries are fantastic. If you're ever in Norwalk stop by and check this place out.

Vargo's is an institution in town and has always had the very best soft serve around. I can remember looking forward to summer as a kid and for when the stand would finally be ready to open. Thankfully, it opens much earlier in the season now than it did in the 90s...or maybe it just feels that way. 😉The lines can get pretty long, but they move pretty quickly thanks to a great service team. I am a chocolate & vanilla twist devotee, but the flurries are wicked good, too. If you're not in the mood for ice cream, the drive-in fare is also really solid - from the cheeseburgers to the sauerkraut balls. It's all well worth the wait.If you happen to be in the neighborhood and are looking for a cool treat, definitely stop by.

The clam strips were piping hot and a nice size portion. Great onion rings but what put our visit over the top was the vanilla custard-raspberry swirl cone!!!

Great food and prices, will definitely be a regular stop when I'm in Norwalk. Sure beats eating at the many corporate style fast food restaurants, especially since some have changed to self serve computer kiosks. I like the personal touch of actually ordering from a person.

Never disappointed with the ice cream choices. They have so many different ways of making the perfect one for your tastebuds. And if you are looking for a bite to eat on the go for lunch, you've come to the right spot. They have fast food with tons of choices as well.

Vargos is my favorite place to eat. It’s better than any ice cream place in town. I would eat here every day if I could. They have some of the best priced ice cream I’ve seen. Especially for the amount they give you. AND NOT TO MENTION THEY HAVE MINI GOLF! It’s the perfect way to spent a nice summer day.

We played mini golf, which was a lot of fun!! Then went into the Pokemon store and bought some stuff. The stuffed animals were decent price but some of the other things were overpriced. The food was really good for being cheaper! Definitely recommend it for an activity with family!

I really love Vargos. Their food is just fantastic and their ice cream is indescribable and fairly priced. If I was the manager I would definitely give the employee named Ronald Casalinova III a raise.

Ohh Vargos, may you never die. Been eating here a my life. On a nice summer day nothing beats vargos. A gyro, some fries or cauliflower, slush. Mmmm MMM mmmm! Hard to beat.

They took my money last night before I realized that they are claiming a fictitious medical exemption to face masks. Will NEVER go back. Saw six employees ages 16 to 60ish streaming in and out of the building, and only one wearing a mask... all handling food and money with no gloves, either. FOLKS, THERE IS NO MEDICALLY ACCEPTABLE REASON that all of their employees (except one) cannot wear a mask... they are lying and putting your health at risk. Food service establishments have a duty to protect public health, and Vargo’s is not living up to theirs. It’s that simple. Please make informed decisions based on science.

AWESOME GREAT ICE CREAM

Shredded chicken sandwich had barely anything to it and the sandwich was squished. Asked for extra tarter for the perch and didn't get it. And they don't even know how to make an actual parfeIts actually a banana split without the banana how hard is that. They only make it with fudge thats it wher is the strawberry and the pineapple 🍍

A Norwalk staple and must have. We love their orange twist and Vargo burgers! Super delicious.
